As you type in Russian (or any other
language) in the left box, you will see the translation, in the language of
your choice, in the box on the right.
One of the difficulties in trying to read old
Russian publications is thatsome
of the Russian characters have not been in use since 1918 (ex. “i”, “v”); and a
few seem to be pronunciation aides. You can type into Lexilogos’ virtual
multilingual keyboard, then copy/paste the Russian word or words into the
Google box mentioned above, in order to translate. (Lexilogos has more letters available than Google).
