LIEPAJA/LIBAU LATVIA MASS MURDERS: VIDEO AND PHOTO

I. A film was taken was taken by a German soldier who just happened to be passing by when an "action" against Jews from Liepaja was taking place. The photographer was Reinhard Weiner. The mass murder occurred at a lighthouse south of Liepaja in July, 1941. It was published July 22, 1912 and is available on youtube at:   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mroRsZ5ygUY

II. A video interview with Reinhard Wiener, part of Yad Vashem's database, "Untold Stories" is entitled, "JUDENEXEKUTION IN LIBAU 1941". The interview, which took place on September 27, 1981, is in two parts. It is  in German with English subtitles:

The photo, from the U.S. Holocaust Museum, was taken just moments before the murders. The women were tentatively identified as:
          Sorella, Mia, and Rosa Epstein, and two unknowns, or
one of the women may be Paula Goldman
