POLAND: MARRIAGE INDEX

"MARRIAGE INDEX TO 1899" (97,000+ marriages)—created by Dr. Marek Jerzy Minakowski

This index covers the areas annexed by Russia (Polish Kingdom/Duchy of Warsaw) and  the “Free City of Krakow” ( 1810-1852).

The index is alphabetized. You can click on the desired letter or use a search box which is provided. At the bottom of each alphabetized page, click on “Next 100” (Nastepne 100) to continue your search.
Some names are missing from the marriage listings. The information in parentheses, provides the parish, year of marriage (or time frame) and in some cases, the marriage certificate number.  The information is in Polish but you can use an automatic translator such as Google to translate.
