The Shanghai Echo was a “…periodical published for Jewish
refugees who fled to Shanghai in an effort to escape National Socialism… Most
Jewish refugees left after the end of World War II. .(It) reported on current
events and opinions, with special attention to the news relevant to the German
and Austrian Jewish community in Shanghai.” The periodical was published in
1946-1947.
