1834-1897 RUSSIAN IMMIGRATION DATABASE
The Russian Immigration
Records database includes those individuals, both Jews & Gentiles, who
described their origins as: Russian, Russian-Poles, Armenian, Finnish,
Galician, Lithuanian, Polish, & Ukrainian.
While the port of arrival is
primarily the Port of NY, the data also includes some records from Baltimore, Boston,
New Orleans, & Philadelphia.
The site includes a
reference guide to 455 ships traveled on by immigrants, which have been listed
alphabetically. It contains dates and ports of departures, points of arrivals,
etc.
