This is a Russian language site created to honor living veterans of WWII. The list of  1,000,000+ names was created in 2005. There is an English language button at the top/right corner of the home page.  Or, you can go to:  http://english.pobediteli.ru/

On the home page there is an excellent interactive map chronicling the  history & important battles of the war from the Russian viewpoint.

List of soldiers, Jews & non-Jews, including birth dates, are available from the following locations. There is also a search box available. (I don't know if you can do a search in English or if you need to convert names to Cyrillic).
