Part 4
*Tradesman Shmul Agranov vs. Priluksky district, regarding the 1906 conscription of his son, Itsek.
Declared residence in the Bolshoi-Devitsa village, Malo-Devitskaya (Malodevitskaya) Volost.
Part 6
*Complaint of the recruit Leizer Isikson & his brother Yankel Isikson vs. Zolotonosha dist. for failure to provide Liezer with a category 1 benefit in the 1906 draft while he was the only help for his sister & for his crippled brother.
Sister, Rachel, was a tradeswoman. Brother, Duvid, died; brothers Osher & Yudko, have had a 6+ years absence for reasons unknown.
Recruits Litman Belousov & Meisha Peisakhov Vishnevsky said that Osher & Yudko lived in America, one with a wife.
Residence was in the Bessarabsko-Tavrichesky Bank (?) 2nd Chechelovskaya St., city of Yekaterinoslav.

*Complaint by Kobelyaksky dist. that Khaim Zalutkovsky, who was recruited in 1906, was required to have a family certificate.
Check eligibility.
Part 9
*Khaim-Shlema Drannikov Kremenchug tradesman, did not appear for the 5th precinct recruitment, when notified by the Kremenchug dist. in 1906--was treated in the Poltava psychiatric hospital since Feb. 1, 1905.
Part 15
*Complaint by the tradesman Yankel Shlemov Finkelstein vs. Pereyaslavskoe dist. regarding the 1906 conscription of his son, Shlema.
Residence was in Pereyaslav.
Part 25
*Complaint lodged against the Pyriatinskoye district by recruits Movsha Kantsevik, Itski Novoselsky, Gersha Dreshchinsky, & Movshi Dun for the following irregularities in the 1906 draft:
--The recruit, Bukler, was deprived of the 1st category benefits,
--Berezinsky & Tatarsky were also deprived of benefits, the deceased, Levin, was not excluded from draft lists.
--Additionally, Tatarsky & Berezinsky were not found; they didn't appear for the draft.
--Itsko Shlemov Levin died in Drabov, Zolotonosha.

*Complaint by Eli Kaplin vs. Lokhvitskoe/Lokhvyts dist. because of the 1906 draft of his son, Israelya-Neakha for the 3rd precinct, due to an incorrect allocation.
Residency declared in Lokhvytsia.
Part 27
*Dec. 12, 1906, a tradesman Nehemiah/Nekhemiy Berkovich Dun, residing in the town of Piryatyn, added to the petition already submitted, regarding the case of non-exclusion of the deceased, Itsko Levin, from the 1906 Piryatinsky dist. draft lists.
Part 32
*Jan. 26, 1907 David-Leiba Volkovsky complained vs. Zenkovskoye for failure to provide 1st category, 1906 draft privileges to his son, Nokhim, due to the incorrect age calculation of the complainant.
According to the Jewish census lists, the complainant was 23 years old in 1874; by Jan. 1, 1906 reached the age of 54. Age was determined by appearance.
Part 33
*Kremenchug tradesman from Kremenchug dist., David Litmanov Schweigolts, was included in the 1905 draft list of the 5th dist.; and listed as born on Jan. 21, 1884. Actually, he was born in 1885.
Delete from the 1905 rolls and abolish the penalty for non-appearance at the draft.
Part 35
*Leiba Avramov Breitburd vs. Pereyaslavskoe for his exclusion from the draft lists of 1906, while he was subject to conscription during that year, simultaneously with his brother, Samson.
The decision of the district court established that they were twins. Residence in Lubny was declared.
Part 38
*Tradesman Avram-Itsk Glushkin complained against the Gadyach dist. for failure to provide 1st category privileges to his son, David-Perets in the 1906 draft.
The applicant was 55 years old, eldest son, Yankel, was about 18, absent for an unknown reason, & the youngest son, Berko, was blind.
Residency in the Rymarevka village was declared.
Part 43
Gershko Dubinsky & his son, Shai complain against the Periyaslavskoe dist for not providing Shai with benefits from the 1906 draft.
Berezan resident.
Part 44
*Tradesman Zelman-Livy Movshi-Shaev Slobodkin against the Mirgorodskoe dist. for failure to provide 1906 draft benefits to his son, Khaim.
He was included in the list among the residents of Mirgorod and had the right to the privilege of 1st category, but since they were not assigned to any society, & Khaim-Simkha was included in the draft list at the place of his father's residence, doubts arose about the composition of the family. He did not appear at the call, a fine was imposed on the family.
Mirgorod residence was declared.
Part 46
*Pereyaslavskoe dist. called up Berko Moiseev Gufeld in 1906. He was accepted with a 1st category privilege. Yankel Filkenstein said that Gufeld had grown- up brothers.
It turned out that Moshko Gufeld resided in Kerch, Tavricheskaya province; & that the Burk family had a 42 yr. old father & brothers Elya, 19; & Mordukh, 15.
Benefit canceled.
Part 47
*Kremenchug dist. complained that Mordki Yankelev Dunaevsky failed to appear for the 1906 draft. His family was fined.
According to the message from the chairman of the 2nd criminal dept. of the Kharkov court chamber, dated Dec. 8, 1906, he was on trial.
Fine canceled.
Part 49
*Yankel Finkelstein, tradesman, vs. Pereyaslavskoe dist. regarding the rejection of 18 people for the 1906 draft.
Balzak, Shor, Volynskiy,Sheftel, Naidis & Kopilenko were rejected for trial at the Kiev hospital.
Zolotushkin, Zhernovoy, Vilenskiy, & Shterenfeld received one-year deferrals.
Re-examination of David Polyakov, Shai Amkhanitsky, Naftul Altshuler, Moysey Fanblut & Gersh Babushkin were called for.
Part 51
*Pereyaslavskoe dist. asked to cancel the imposition of a fine on the family of Pinkhos Yankelev Vilchur, who did not appear at the 1906 draft since he had been given a deferral in order to graduate from dental school in Kiev.
Fine cancelled.
Part 55
Goretsky dist. asked for the cancellation of the Apr. 26, 1906 Poltava dist. resolution, with permission for the Goretsky tradesman, Movshe-Fale Gertselev Solodkin, to be assigned to 1st precinct of the Poltava dist.
He was at his Poltava residence since he was 20 yr., by Jan. 1, 1906, & filed a petition on Mar. 3. to be called up in 1907.
He lived in Poltava for 3 years. 1886 metrics for Jews born in the town of Gorki, where he was born, were destroyed by an 1891 Gorki fire.
Resolution cancelled.

*1906 conscript recruit,Yankel Benshtein, complaint against Kobelyaksky dist.

*Kremenchug dist. regarding the examination for the 1906 draft of Borokh Kushnirov & his deferment.

*Tradesman Izrailya Zhorakhovsky vs. Romenskoye dist. regarding the rejection of 4 people for the 1906 draft.
Rogachevskiy was summoned & declared fit.
Part 84
Attorney for the complainants, Reveka Shulkin & Simon Povzner, vs. the Poltava dist. for not enrolling Reveka's son, Borukh Zaslavsky (from her first marriage), into the militia.
Borokh was conscripted into the 1906 draft with 2nd level benefits. He was a student of the Kharkov Institute of Technology, with a grace period of up to 27 years.
He was called by the deputy Girsh Morgolin & received a reprieve.
Resident of the city of Poltava, 28 Dvoryanskaya St.
Part 85
*Tradesman Lieber Joseph vs. Romenskoye dist. for not giving his son, Srol, a deferral from the 1906 draft, in order to arrange property affairs.
He had a small grocery in Glinsk. The shop was acquired in Jan. 1906 from the Jew, Efroim Wolfson from Glinsky, He lived there as Wolfson's daughter's fiancee. Before that he had no business in Glinsk.
Part 86
*Retired private, Avram Chudnovsky vs. the Kremenchug dist. for recognizing him as able-bodied, thus refusing to grant benefits.
He had been injured.
He resided in the village of Krivoy-Ruda, Svyatilovskaya volost.
Part 88
*Zalman Gevertz complaint vs. Piryatinskoe dist. for refusing to grant a deferment for graduation from the BI Sokolovsky electro-technical school in Odessa.
He was arrested on Aug. 31, 1906 by the Priluksky dist. police & imprisoned. Released Nov. 3.
Part 92
*Itsko Shmuylov Cherkassky complaint vs. Piryatinskoye dist. for not providing a class 2 benefits to his son, Avram, drafted in 1906.
The eldest son, Froim, received a deferment in 1905 as well as the younger Avram when he reached draft age.
Each precinct was called in 1906. The father was 48 yr., mother, Rivka, 47 yr., & brother, Shmul, was 12.
Eligiblity for class 2 benefits was considered.
Residency was in Yagotin.
Part 93
*Tradesman Khaim Motev Khominskiy complaint vs. Prilukskoye dist. for refusing to return his son Khaim, who was drafted in 1904 with grade 1 benefits.
He was an only son; father was 50 yrs. Motya lived in the village of Ivakhniki, Lokhvitsky with 4 stans (of land??).

*Tradesman Yudel Blyushansky vs. Kremenchug dist. for refusal to register him to the 5th precinct.
Born July 18, 1886. The malyat volost board said that he was 20 years old by Jan. 1, 1906, according to the family list.
Residence: Ghana house on Kievskaya St. in the city of Kremenchug.

*Complaints of residents Shmerel Aizin, Moisey Rodnyansky, & Mordukh Aizin vs. Lokhvitskoye dist. for the wrong provision of the grade 1 benefits in the 1906 draft to: Gersh Dun, Mordukh-Leyzor Rodnyansky, & Yankel-Gersh David-Leibov Kupershteyn, & Elevovka Kupershteyn.
Dun Family: father, 57; brothers Meer-David, 34 & Moisha-Mordukh, 17, b. Mr. 28, 1888; & 2 sisters
Meer was declared incapable of work.
Rodnyansky Family: deceased father, mother, half-brothers--Avram 56; Aba 50; Kisiel 48; Khatskel 46; Meer 43; & Hillel-Leib 39; & 5 sisters.
1st category benefits.
Kupershteyn Family:father 55; mother; brothers: Aron-Shmul 19-born Dec. 3, 1886; Slama 16; Abram 13; Moses 10; Israel 8; Yosel & Berko, twins 3; & 1 sister. Aron-shmul was disabled.
1st category benefits.
Karchak received a one-year postponement.
Part 96
*Gadyach tradesman Zelman Itskov Poznyakovsky vs Gadyach dist. for incorrect age determination of his son Beniamin in 1906.
His son Khaim was drafted for precinct 1 & was to receive 2nd category benefits. Beniamin was 17 yrs but outwardly, he appeared to be 18 yrs. by Jan. 1, 1906.
Residency was in Sorochintsy, Mirgorodsky dist.
Part 98
*Tradesman Aizik Livshit vs. the Mirgorodskoe dist. for imposing a fine on his family of 300 R. for the failure of his son, Mordukh, to appear for the 1906 draft.
Mordukh was in America & sent a certificate of illness, attested to by the Russian-Imperial Consulate in Chicago.
Fine was canceled.
Residence in the city of Mirgorod.
Part 101
*Yankel Movshevich Benshteyn, son of a Kobelyak merchant vs Kobelyaksky dist.
Yankel was drafted into the1st district group in 1906, but did not appear due to illness.
The Benshteyn family: father 51; mother; brothers: Avram 12; Meer 8; Beniamin 4; & sisters: Esther-Hana, Rivka, Rachel, & Golda. Drafted in 1907.
Eligibility for level 2 benefits considered.
Part 102
*Decree of the Governing Senate of Feb. 3, 1907 on the complaint of the tradesman Savva-Shlioma Izrailevich against the Poltava provincial decree of Sept. 15, 1901 for refusing to certify him for military service as a volunteer.
Poltava dist. Certificate of his vision, Dr. Khvalynsky, serving in the 36th Infantry Oryol Regiment.
Case considered.
