1943 CITIZENSHIP REVOCATION OF MUNICH JEWS


July 14, 1933 a law was passed regarding the expatriation & the deprivation of German citizenship. Citizen deprivation became effective when names were published in the Deutscher Reichsanzeiger. 39,000+ individiuals lost their citizenship between 1933 & 1945. Included were those considered undesirable by the state, including Jews who fled from persecution & extermination.

 Information below is from the National Socialistic German Labor Party Headquarters & concerns the revocation of citizenship for Jews, based on a newspaper article in the Deutscher Reichsanzeiger of May 4, 1943.

The following  Jews had their German citizenship revocated:

Klint LEHMSTUHL [b. 20/8/1924 or 20/9/1924]

Gaiserwald [b. 20/81924 or 20/9/1924]

BRAUN, formerly CZAPSKI, born STUMP 


Adolf KUHNE & seven family members were listed  on the German website, "Expatriation of Jewish German Citizens". The KUHNES were listed as #236[106] on Reichsanzeiger. They immigrated to the U.S.


Alfred & Peter SCHAEFFER also appeared on the Expatriation list
