There is an interesting article online (author, Frank Longoria) about the Hispanic Jews who were tried in Mexico (New Spain) for being lapsed Christians--those who reconnected or were accused of returning to Judaism. Included in the article is a long list of names of the Judeo-conversos who were tried by the Spanish Inquisition for being secret Jews.
