Thank you for this list. My great. Great grandfather from Belya Tserkov. Was taken as a youngster for the Russian army. He decided to stay until retirement. There are two names on this list Itzkho Antselev Osherov. 17; and Beria Yankelev Osherov 12. Probably brothers. I was told the name was Ostrove. Very close. Is there a way to check if these are my ancestors??

ReplyDeleteI believe that if they were brothers their patronym (middle name) would be identical, since the patronym is based on the father's nam--could be relativess, though.
