Issued to merchant's son, Abram Itzko Yakovlevich KLEINER, age 39, from Berdichev city.
Abram passed through Rodzivils (Radziwill?) transition point on March 11, 1876. He was a Lieut. Colonel???
This passport was in the Poltava City Police Dept. & was recorded under # 464 on May 1, 1876.
It was recorded in the city of Kharkov on May 12, 1876 in book # 284, in city of Kharkov, Office #4.



1913 [Dec. 28] Dvinsk city government trade certificate to owner, Rive Mendelevna ROSENTHAL for an industrial plant.
Certificate # 1330. 
Business: A ladies' hat workshop, company name: "Madame Annette Salon";
Location: Zalkind house, Petrogradskaya St.
Issuer: Dvinsk City Government.

    Document was issued to a former Jewish refugee in Manchuria. She had traveled to the port city of Tianjin, obtained a Soviet consular document then continued on to Shanghai. She went on from there to Israel in 1949. The USSR wanted all of the former Russian citizens who escaped to China to return to the USSR, promising rehabilitation & protection.

Birth Place: Kiev. This was the last place that she lived in the USSR.
