This is a wartime (1917) Jewish orphan-support payroll list.
The information shows orphans receiving financial support through a Jewish communal structure in wartime Lodz.
These lists provide guardians' names, names of Jewish children who lost parents during war years (this doesn't mean that the parents died because of the war). It includes guardians' Lodz addresses, numbers of children cared for [dzieci/dziecko= child/children] and their names, and sums paid in marks [Mk].
Left column: surnames & addresses, Middle: number of children, Right: children's names & amounts in marks.
