Determination of benefits for students
of the Odessa Drawing School:
The Committee of the Odessa branch of the [Education] Society ( Society
to spread education among Jews in Russia) was asked to pay benefits to students with
limited means. The Committee decided to confine the benefits to only the most
worthy---those exhibiting talent and making progress in the arts. The list of students follows:
