My paternal grandfather (Morris/Moshe Stupelman) was born in Mogilev around 1883. His fathermy ggf, Rabbi Leib Stupelman (1844-1924) was a rabbi and a shochet. My Stupelman family immigrated to Philadelphia in 1893/94. I see our family name STUPELMAN listed above (Mogilev Synagogue: Some Jewish names). How can I get mre information ? I would especially like to find out Leib Stupelman's wife (Tzvia Yocha) maiden name (her father's first name was Reuven/Ruben). Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
ReplyDeleteMy paternal gf was Morris/Moshe Stupelman (b.abt 1883 in Mogilev). His father was Rabbi Leib Stupelman (1844-1924) who was a rabbi and a shochet.Leib Stupelman's wife was Tzvia Yocha (1848-1924). Our Stupelman family immigrated to Philadelphia in 1893/94. I would like to find out Tzvia Yocha's maiden name (I know her father's first name was Reuven/Ruben). Any information about my Mogilev Stupelman relatives would be greatly appreciated.
